We are a fast-paced, growing Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm looking for a full-time, experienced pre-litigation case manager who can handle all aspects of personal injury claims, including, initial client contact, intakes, medical records requests, scheduling medical appointments, resolving PD and loss of use, reporting claims to Medi-Cal and Medi-Care for lien resolution, preparing files for demand, and quality care. A successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the pre-litigation process. This is an excellent position for a motivated individual who is looking for a rewarding job with an opportunity to grow within the company.
Responsibilities
•Handle pre-litigation personal injury cases from inception to settlement
•Extensive contact with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and staff attorneys
•Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement •Formulate treatment plans for clients ensuring they are receiving the best possible care
•Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating, and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing the utmost professional support
•Maintain client records by reviewing case notes, logging events and progress
•Request medical records and manage the resolution of property damage claims
•Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation
•Maintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential
Skills
•Extensive computer and database experience (MS Word and Excel skills necessary)
•Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
•Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to handle up to 100 Personal Injury Pre-litigation cases at a time
•Prior experience with personal injury claims
•Team-oriented and independently capable
•Comfortable working in a paperless system
•Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
