Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy and supportive counseling to clients with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ emotional and psychological states to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment strategies that align with each client's unique circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and community services, to offer integrated patient care.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on clinical insights and client feedback.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment choices, and resources available to them both locally and nationally.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation necessary for compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily serve a diverse patient population comprising individuals of varying ages and backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health issues. Our clients often face challenges stemming from traumatic experiences, chronic stress, and socio-economic factors that influence their mental health. The LCSW will play a vital role in empowering clients to navigate these challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services to diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build therapeutic relationships with clients, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical skills with proven experience in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools used to manage patient information and care coordination.
• A deep understanding of mental health conditions and best practices for treatment.
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, including confidentiality and informed consent.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a remote setting is highly desirable, as is proficiency in telehealth practices and virtual engagement techniques. Additional training in specialized therapeutic modalities or certifications relevant to specific mental health conditions will be considered an asset.
