Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing standardized tools and individualized interviews.
  • Evaluate clients’ specific needs and goals to create evidence-based treatment plans collaboratively.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
  • Facilitate couples therapy sessions focusing on communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and building intimacy.
  • Regularly review and update treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate client records that include progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Be prepared for crisis intervention, offering support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, incorporating new techniques into your practice.
  • Participate in ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills and professional knowledge.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapy services you provide will cater to a diverse array of client demographics, including children, adolescents, couples, and adult individuals. You will work closely with clients facing various psychological and relational challenges, tailoring your approach to meet each client’s specific needs for support and encouragement. Our goal is to foster resilience and promote mental wellness among our clients, equipping them with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Valid, active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
  • Proven experience in delivering therapies to both individuals and couples.
  • Background in working with children and/or adult populations is preferred.
  • Strong capabilities in timely administration of client assessments and documentation of treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and utilize electronic health records systems.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of direct client care experience in a counseling setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Experience providing therapy in a previous remote or telehealth environment is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
