Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions through secure video chat, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to guide individual therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique circumstances and challenges faced by clients, ensuring that they receive customized care.
• Facilitating discussions that help clients gain insights into their thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, fostering personal growth and awareness.
• Tracking client progress and implementing adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, assisting clients in building healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele of stable, low acuity adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. This demographic requires understanding and tailored support to navigate daily life and improve their mental well-being. Your role will involve helping these individuals build resilience and develop essential life skills that facilitate long-term recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full independent license to practice without supervision, one of the following is required:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses and no recent disciplinary actions against professional license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a sympathetic and empathetic disposition.
• Strong computer literacy skills for effective use of our therapy platform.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a remote counseling environment or those who have utilized telehealth methodologies may find this role particularly engaging. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and online therapy tools would also be beneficial in maximizing client interaction and care delivery.
