#2 - Previous experience in an in-house Accounting/Middle-Office Finance role (looking for a career change into recruiting)!

Job Title:

Director/Manager/Senior Executive Recruiter or Executive Recruiter

(title will be commensurate with experience)


Location:

Remote or Hybrid - preferably based out of NY or NJ


Commitment:

40 hours per week


Compensation:

Commission based role - percentages based on experience - significant earning potential based on performance


Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented Recruiters at all levels to assist with the high volume of incoming applications.


Knowledge of Financial Services Accounting or Middle Office Finance REQUIRED.


This role focuses primarily on sourcing/recruiting new candidates, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and recommending qualified applicants for next-stage interviews for roles within Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Real Estate Firms and Alternative Asset Managers.


Ideal for someone with a strong recruiting background or accounting/finance background who thrives on efficiently identifying talent and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source new candidates through LinkedIn and cold messaging/calling.
  • Review and evaluate large volumes of incoming resumes for multiple open roles.
  • Assess candidate experience and qualifications against job requirements.
  • Categorize and prioritize applications using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Conduct brief screening calls as needed to confirm basic fit or interest.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and full-time recruiters to align on role criteria.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and notes within the ATS.
  • Provide weekly summaries or recommendations of top candidates.


Qualifications:

  • 2-10+ years of experience in an Accounting, Finance or Recruiting position
  • Strong ability to quickly interpret resumes across a variety of roles or industries.
  • Excellent judgment and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can manage workload independently in a remote environment.
