  • Experience managing complex pursuits, developing competitive estimating strategies, and mitigating commercial and technical risk.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build client relationships, negotiate effectively, and support business development efforts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/construction software such as HCSS and Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Proven leadership experience managing estimating or preconstruction teams for utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, scheduling, and project execution within the renewable energy industry.
  • Experience developing estimating strategies, financial models, value engineering solutions, and risk mitigation plans for large, complex pursuits.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading commercial negotiations, reviewing contract terms, and supporting successful project handoffs from preconstruction to operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative, continuous improvement in culture.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance client success, employee development, and company profitability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive leadership skills with experience leading high-impact meetings and proposal reviews.
