Overview

The HR Enablement Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team, providing operational, project, and analytical support that enables HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Employee Relations (ER) Advisors to effectively support the business. Serving as a trusted, central resource for the HR team, this role ensures the effective execution of day-to-day HR processes, employee and leader support activities, compliance requirements, and HR initiatives across the organization.

The HR Enablement Specialist balances tactical execution with higher value project and business support work while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. This position is responsible for coordinating HR programs and processes, supporting compliance activities, providing employee and leader support, producing workforce reporting and analysis, developing executive ready presentations and business materials, and supporting the successful execution of HR initiatives and projects. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, initiative, business acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly resourceful, enjoys solving problems, works with a sense of urgency, and can effectively translate information and data into meaningful insights and business deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as a primary support resource for HR Business Partners and Employee Relations Advisors in the execution of day-to-day activities, strategic initiatives, and HR programs such as recognition programs, employee engagement survey action planning, talent reviews, year-end performance milestones, etc
  • Manages employee and leader inquiries regarding HR policies, processes, benefits, payroll, leave programs, and available tools / resources
  • Maintains confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee and business information
  • Analyzes turnover, exit interview feedback, employee relations trends, survey results, headcount metrics, and other workforce data; Identify trends, themes, and summarize findings for HR Leadership
  • Produces recurring and ad hoc reports to support HR and business needs; Develop executive ready presentations that support business reviews, leader presentations, and strategic initiatives
  • Supports creation, deployment, communication, and implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and projects, including cross functional projects with significant business visibility and impact
  • Coordinates project timelines, deliverables, meetings, communications, and follow-up activities including project milestones and action items to ensure timely completion of commitments
  • Manages process documentation, standard operating procedures, templates, and forms including online tools and resources
  • Manages and support HR compliance including but not limited to I-9 completion, unemployment claims, labor law posters, workplace notice requirements, record retention, audits, etc.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of company policies, state and federal employment labor laws
  • Identifies opportunities to improve and enhance HR processes, tools, resources, service delivery, and team efficiency including recommendations for process enhancements and workflow improvements
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify work and improve the employee and leader experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; or Equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, business support, project coordination, operations support, or a related field
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with workforce reports, HR data, and presentation development preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and reporting tools preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and summarize data into meaningful business insights
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and accountability in completing work independently
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting, pivot tables, data analysis, and trend identification
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop professional and executive-level presentations
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications
