YOUR CHALLENGE:

As the Director of Product Management, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the long-term vision for Curtiss-Wright's industrial global product portfolio. This role drives enterprise-level growth by aligning product strategy, innovation, and go-to-market execution with evolving market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive benchmarks.

You will own end-to-end product lifecycle leadership, from ideation and development through commercialization and end-of-life, while ensuring tight cross-functional integration across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations. With a strong focus on value creation, portfolio optimization, and scalable growth, this leader will position and sustain Curtiss-Wright as a market leader in the industrial space by accelerating adoption, expanding share, and delivering differentiated solutions across core and growth segments.

Key Responsibilities:

People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Player/Coach Role:
    • Lead, coach, and develop a global product management organization.
    • Perform product management of NA designed HMI, Shifters, Power Electronics and Throttle Controls
  • Increase the maturity and effectiveness of product management capabilities, tools and operating rhythms across all of Curtiss-Wright, Industrial

Portfolio & Product Strategy

  • Define and lead market, product requirements and overall product strategy across Mobility, Industrial Low Voltage Controllers, HMI, Power Electronics, Shifters, Actuators, Sensors and Electronic Throttle Controls in alignment with Curtiss-Wright;s strategic and financial objectives.
  • Establish clear wheretoplay and howtowin choices by segment, application, region, and customer.
  • Recommend portfolio actions including investment, acceleration, localization, rationalization, partnerships, acquisitions, or exits based on market attractiveness, competitive position, and return on investment.

Market & Competitive Leadership

  • Build deep understanding of end markets, customer applications, buying criteria, technology trends, and competitor strategies.
  • Lead disciplines such as voice of customer, product benchmarking, market segmentation, win/loss analysis, and competitive intelligence to shape portfolio and roadmap priorities.
  • Ensure Curtiss-Wright products deliver differentiated customer value and clear competitive advantage.

Product Lifecycle & Innovation

  • Own endtoend product lifecycle management from concept through launch, scale, refresh, and retirement.
  • Craft and manage product roadmaps that align with aggressive launch timelines and growth ambitions
  • Prioritize development resources toward the highestvalue opportunities and ensure disciplined business case justification for new product initiatives.
  • Drive faster timetomarket and increased focus through portfolio simplification and roadmap prioritization.

Commercial Execution & Pricing

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to define value propositions, positioning, pricing strategies, and gotomarket plans.
  • Enable sales teams with product training, application messaging, and commercial tools that improve pipeline quality and win rates.
  • Engage directly with key customers and strategic accounts as a senior product authority.

Financial Performance & Planning

  • Own portfoliolevel performance including revenue growth, margin expansion, product mix, and pricing effectiveness.
  • Lead annual and longrange portfolio planning in partnership with Finance and Operations.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for margin improvement, complexity reduction, and costproductivity.

CrossFunctional Leadership & Governance

  • Serve as the integrator across Engineering, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to ensure aligned execution.
  • Establish strong portfolio governance, prioritization, and decisionmaking processes.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Technical, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or related commercial leadership roles within industrial, CV, off-highway, heavyduty, mobility or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multicategory product portfolios across electronic, electromechanical, or HMI products.
  • Proven success developing and executing product market strategies and market share roadmaps within OES (CV and Industrial OEMs) and/or IAM channels.
  • Strong background in new product development, lifecycle management, pricing, and profitability optimization.
  • Prior ownership or strong influence over portfolio financial performance, including revenue growth, margin, and investment prioritization.
  • Data driven decision maker with strong business acumen and attention to operational rigor.
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM; comfort using data to drive alignment and accountability.
