About the role:

As a Senior Fuels Business Manager, you will be accountable for Nuclear Fuel product portfolio sales to meet sales goals for new plant AP1000 fuel contracts in the Americas. You will lead efforts in developing the capture strategy working with the Solution Managers and Product Managers from the identification of an opportunity through negotiation and finalization of contracts. You will oversee implementing fuel contracts >$250M in value to meet goals to support new plant growth.

You will report to the Senior Fuels Business Director. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Our Lead Capture strategy focuses on opportunities, including identifying bundling opportunities. It also involves cross-coordinating products to present customer-oriented solutions. Additionally, we work with Product Management and Account Management to define target price and target costs.
  • Responsible for Negotiations with the client until final contract signature, ensuring teamwork and agreement on all relevant WEC teammates including Account Managers, Solutions Management, Product Management, Legal, finance, and supporting organizations.
  • Lead customer presentations on AP1000 fuel technology and offerings.
  • Integrate with the new organization (APX) and align with EMEA fuel organization to support AP1000 fuel strategy.
  • Oversee the management of opportunities and upkeep within the customer relationship management tool for associated opportunities.
  • Build relationships with customer Fuel organizations, develop understanding of customer strategies and needs.
  • Lead LOA and offer processes within Westinghouse including presentation and obtaining agreement from WEC important partners to ensure offering meets Westinghouse target goals and Customer needs.
  • Grow non-AP1000 fuel sales into the non-Westinghouse OEM market, as determined by the NF staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s of Science degree required
  • 10 years of experience working at or with Nuclear Utilities.
  • Experience with on-site nuclear plant experience in a utility position or customer-facing role as a vendor.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Utility buying processes
  • Knowledge of the Nuclear Fuel product line
  • Experience with AP1000 plant design and operations
  • Experience in business development
  • Experience leading moderate complexity contract negotiations (>$100M)
  • Financial experience
  • Management Experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000 to $180,000 per year.
