As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing individualized, recovery-focused treatment plans tailored to each client's unique psychological and social needs.
• Conducting regular assessments of client progress and treatment needs, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with clients to enhance their coping strategies, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills, which are vital for their recovery process.
• Educating clients about available community resources and services, advocating for them to ensure they receive comprehensive support.
• Facilitating skill-building activities that empower clients to manage daily living tasks and foster independence.
• Providing closure and aftercare planning to support clients in their transition following treatment, ensuring continuity of care.

Your clients will primarily be adults aged 18 years and older, many of whom face significant challenges due to mental health disorders. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health issues that impede their ability to function effectively within the community. Your role will be pivotal in helping them cultivate independence and regain their footing in everyday life.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid state license in one of the following categories: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Experience providing direct clinical services to clients with mental health needs, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and approaches.
• The ability to operate independently and responsibly while maintaining client confidentiality.
• A technology-savvy disposition to utilize virtual platforms for client interaction and documentation effectively.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience in community mental health settings, with an emphasis on recovery-oriented practices.
• Familiarity with symptom monitoring and management techniques, enhancing support for clients dealing with acute and chronic symptoms.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with clients and their families to establish trust and rapport.
• Competence in a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches, offering flexibility to meet diverse client needs.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
