Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager - Observability & Digital Operations Location: Remote Location Type: Remote Start Date: July 27, 2025 Duration: Contract Compensation: $70 - $80/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Job Description:Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead two large-scale enterprise initiatives: an Observability Modernization program replacing a legacy monitoring platform, and a Digital Operations Transformation effort focused on scaling and standardizing data center operations. This individual will serve as the connective tissue between engineering, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders, driving governance, vendor accountability, and measurable delivery outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep technical fluency, strong program management discipline, and the executive presence to lead complex, high-visibility programs from strategy through execution.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead the enterprise observability and monitoring modernization program, including the decommission of an existing platform and transition to an internally built open-source solution
  • Drive the Digital Operations Transformation initiative, encompassing data center scaling and cross-functional process and technology alignment
  • Own program governance, financial tracking, risk management, and executive-level reporting across both initiatives
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and vendor teams to drive alignment and remove blockers
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and accountability throughout implementation and system modernization efforts
  • Deliver regular updates to senior leadership, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8 years of technical program or enterprise program management experience
  • Hands-on experience working within data center environments
  • Strong vendor management background across enterprise technology implementations
  • Deep technical fluency with an infrastructure or systems background
  • Experience leading implementation and system modernization programs
  • Exposure to AI or AIOps tooling
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage both engineering teams and business executives
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with ScienceLogic or similar observability/monitoring platforms
