This position operates in a unique remote work setting, specifically designed to serve patients at a detox center. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for individuals experiencing substance use challenges in the detox setting, assessing their psychological history and presenting concerns.
• Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental health needs of each client, promoting effective coping strategies and emotional resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care practices to address diverse mental health issues.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to enhance emotional regulation and support personal growth throughout the detox process.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for the clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services during acute mental health situations, calmly de-escalating conflicts and ensuring client safety.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions and the treatment options available to them.
• Maintain precise documentation of clinical assessments, treatment progress, and any referrals made, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Attend regular team meetings and participate in continuous professional development initiatives to enhance collaborative practice.
• Stay informed of current laws and ethical practices in mental health care, particularly in the context of detox and substance use recovery.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification treatment who may present with serious mental health concerns as part of their substance use history. Understanding the complexities of their experiences, you will work to address both their psychological and emotional needs, paving the way for their successful transition into recovery and reintegration into the community.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LICSW licensure in Washington State.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mental health, preferably within a detox or correctional facility.
• A profound understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated ability in conducting comprehensive assessments, making clinical diagnoses, and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, remaining composed and solution-focused in high-pressure scenarios.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling rapport-building and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working with clients in detox settings or those with co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital therapeutic tools to enhance remote patient engagement.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary treatment planning and team-based care.

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
