A Freelance Digital Accessibility specialist is an independent professional who helps organizations make their websites, applications, and digital content accessible to people with disabilities. We're looking for production experience with a hands-on, get it done, make cool content mentality. Ideally, you also have an extensive knowledge and passion for the fashion and beauty space. You'll collaborate from concept to delivery with social strategists, creatives and your core content creation team - content creator and camera op / editor.

You'll be responsible for handling all aspects of social first pre-production and production phases for both internal content creation and third-party partners. Keeping traditional production practices in mind, you'll need to be nimble, adaptable and strategic -- a key collaborator in every step, including prop sourcing, set design, on-site filming and possibly editing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage core team's capacity and scheduling
  • Consult during concepting to ensure ideas are feasible
  • Work closely with business affairs to ensure FTC compliance and general guidelines
  • Support pre-production (e.g., location, props, equipment, production insurance, releases, etc.),
  • On-site filming including being on camera, if needed
  • Support post production - if you can edit that's a plus!
  • Manage and organize digital assets to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.
  • Work with Art Buying to license stock
  • Asset tracking and rights management documentation
Qualifications
  • 7-9 years of experience in video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency or similar experience
  • Fashion and beauty knowledge
  • Collaborative work ethic
  • Awesome client facing and relationship management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, time and budget management, leadership, decision making, project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of opportunities and limitations of all popular social platforms.
  • A passion for staying updated on emerging trends in social media and digital content creation
  • Keen eye for design/art direction/leveraging props and styling
  • Comfortable filming on a mobile device
  • Nice to have: Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere
  • Portfolio required
