Working from a home office, you will have the tools and systems necessary to maintain client confidentiality and provide effective therapy, including secure video conferencing, electronic health records management, and collaborative platforms for inter-disciplinary communication. • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, tailoring therapeutic techniques to suit individual client needs.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and understanding between partners.
• Engage with families to address dynamics and enhance relationship skills, promoting healthier interactions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans grounded in comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health issues.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools to diagnose mental health disorders and monitor clients’ progress throughout the course of treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
• Participate in continuous education and training opportunities to stay current with best practices and evolving therapeutic methodologies.

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families, addressing a wide array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The diverse backgrounds of our clients necessitate a culturally competent therapeutic approach, and as a therapist at Meru, you will be involved in ensuring our services reflect and respect the communities we serve.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and empathy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.

• Experience working with a diverse client population, particularly those from underserved communities.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and techniques, as well as experience in creating digital treatment plans.
• A background in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

We offer an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, holidays, and opportunities for professional development.
