Job Description:

As aSoftware Engineer - API & Partner IntegrationatDatasite, you lead projects, drive technical decisions, and build scalable platform systems with an AI-first mindset. You balance business context, customer impact, and long-term platform health while enabling intelligent, API-driven experiences and partner integrations (e.g., MCP, marketplace, and discovery services).

You bring hands-on experience or strong exposure to AI-assisted or AI-enabled development (LLM APIs, automation workflows, intelligent orchestration), paired with the ability to learn quickly, adapt in ambiguity, and move with urgency. You will help ensure new partnerships are delivered with both operational rigor and creative problem solving.

This is a US-remote opportunity. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. If not located in MN, occasional travel will be required.

Strategic Technical Leadership

  • Guide technical decisions that incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into core platform services and partner integrations.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience building andoperatingscalable distributed systems and APIs

  • Prior experience building, scaling, or supporting a marketplace platform (B2B SaaS, developer marketplace, app marketplace, integration marketplace, or partner ecosystem) with responsibility for partner onboarding, integration delivery, and ecosystem growth.

  • Experience or exposure to AI/ML technologies (LLMs, embeddings, automation workflows, etc.)

  • Ability to ramp quickly onnew technologiesand domains, especially in AI and partner ecosystems

  • Proven success leading work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-team influence

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position based on a good faith assessment of the role and market data at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate's compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits. Specific details will be provided during the interview process. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
