  • Understand and Lead Business process improvement initiatives with various business unit teams.
  • Leverage SAP investment to improve productivity and working capital efficiency
  • Business Reporting application development and support for all business units and all locations.
  • Leverage BI tools to provide visibility to accurate & timely information for key decision makers in the business units for reporting, process monitoring, planning needs, key performance metrics, & predictive analysis.
  • Training & Support to optimize all reporting and analytical functions across all Business systems.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thorough knowledge of SAP Business Information Warehouse application development methodology, configuration, and ABAP programming language (including ABAP Objects).
  • Thorough understanding of structured analysis, design & programming techniques & structured methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP (ECC) modules & processes from a technical (tables and fields) & functional perspective.
  • Multiple experiences leading the implementation of major project initiatives
  • Experience in analyzing business processes, objectives/requirements and translating them into                                               an application solution.
  • Ability to design, develop and implement SAP-based business applications
  • Functional knowledge of SAP Module capabilities and integration with SAP BW.
  • 5+ years configuration experience in the following areas

BI DEVELOPMENT AND QUERY TOOLS

SAP Business Warehouse (BW) navigation, configuration, & general capabilities to include but not limited to: 

  • Extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) & Standard Business content
  • Designing and building ODS, InfoCube, Remote Cube, structures.
  • Business Explorer ( BEx ) reporting tool (Version 3.5 * 7.X)
  • Web Application Designer (Version 3.5 & 7.X)
  • Remodeling, Analysis Process Design

Standard SAP change management transport and landscape functions.

SAP BW Security role structure and authorizations.

BW Performance tuning, problem root cause identification, debugging, and resolution skills

Experience with SAP OSS support functions and escalation methodology.

Experience with Java and Java script web development platforms

  • Building JCO connectors
  • WSDL services and XML
  • BI Portal development

BI Development skills not required but a plus to have:

  • Predictive analytics, data mining,
  • BW/CRM integration experience.
  • BW/APO integration experience.
  • Business Objects Universe and query design
  • QlikView

Required education:  4 year college degree.  10+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
