Description

As a Digital Services Technical Lead, you will lead initiatives and build processes to advocate for modern software practices through a DevSecOps Methodology.

The Digital Services Technical Lead will have the technical skills to drive innovation and collaboration between diverse teams of Software Developers, AWS Site Reliability Engineers, Automation Engineers, Testing Engineers, Network Engineers, Database Engineers, Cloud Operations Engineers, Tools Engineers, Application Developers, and Security experts. This is a technical hands-on role. Technical expertise is required.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of experience building/operating on AWS, networking, IT Security tools, databases and tools

• Hands-on technical expertise in DevSecOps, security, automation, application development, databases, implementation, integration, and release management.

• Real world experience with establishing and maturing application development and CICD towards progressive delivery.

• Strong experience and ability to work with Terraform for infrastructure as code solutions.

• Strong understanding of identity access management roles, permissions, etc.

• Experience in using tools in an AWS Cloud environment (CloudWatch, OpenSearch) and security tools security tools such as Aqua, DLP, etc.)

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based containerized applications (AWS EKS) including spring boot-based container services.

• Experience with Gitlab CICD including enabling environments, feature flags, and DORA Metrics aggregation.

• Experience with tools to be used during real time monitoring, alerting, diagnostics during incident.

• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog.

• Coding proficiency in at least one software language (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby).

• Must be a self-starter and able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level – with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong analytical acumen, solid technology experience, business judgment, and an ability to dive deep to solve complex problems.

• Must have the leadership presence and communication skills to effectively work with customers at all levels of their organization.

• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally complex technical matters clearly and concisely

• Possess a passion and desire for leading the resolution of critical incidents.

• Ability to manage communication for critical incidents in an improm

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

• 8-10 years experience required.
