Nous recherchons actuellement un expert en sinistres (biens et responsabilite civile) ! Ce poste est 100 % a distance, mais un bureau vous attend a Laval si vous preferez travailler en mode hybride. Vous pouvez resider n'importe ou au Canada a condition d'etre titulaire d'un permis d'expert en sinistres valide au Quebec (sinistres des particuliers et des entreprises).

Nous cherchons actuellement a ajouter un expert en dommage directs et responsabilite civile (1 a 3 annees d'experience) a notre equipe des comptes nationaux !!

Pour reussir dans ce role, le candidat ideal doit avoir une formation/experience dans les reclamations en dommages directs et en responsabilite civile. Le candidat aura aussi de l'experience en blessures corporelles ou au moins de l'interet pour en traiter.

Responsabilites:

  • Contact et suivi rapides avec les assures et les reclamants.

  • Enqueter sur la cause et faire rapport aux clients avec des recommandations solides.

  • Tout au long du processus de reclamation, fournir un service a la clientele de haut niveau aux clients et aux assures.

  • Executer les taches qui lui sont confiees conformement aux normes de travail, politiques et procedures etablies.

We have an existing opportunity for a property & liability claims adjuster! This position is 100% remote, but an office awaits you in Laval if you prefer to work in hybrid mode. You can live anywhere in Canada if you have a valid Quebec claims adjuster's license (personal and commercial).

Bilingualism in French and English is required (oral and written).

Role Summary

We are currently looking to add a Direct Damage & Liability (including BI) Adjuster (1-3 years experience) to our National Accounts team!!

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have training/experience in direct damage and liability claims.The candidate will ideally have experience in Bodily injury claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Prompt contact and follow up with policy holders and claimants.

  • Investigate the cause and report to clients with solid recommendations.

  • Identify liability exposures, recommend reserves, recommend investigation required for exposure, prepare action plans, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.

  • Throughout the claims process, provide high level of customer service to clients and the insured.

  • Perform duties assigned to him/her in compliance with established work standards, policies and procedures.

Competencies required to succeed:

  • Proactive in finding resolutions, with sense of urgency and responsiveness.

  • Effective analytical skillsincluding identification of cause-and-effect dynamics.

  • Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.

  • Ability to handle pressure with a calm demeanor, especially during conflict and difficult situations.

  • Must have people skills with bias towards building relationships with own team and claims stakeholders.

  • Proficient with computers and current technology

  • Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical in nature.

  • Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, etc.; Must be able to flex style appropriate to audience.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ensures that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.
