Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the unique needs of each patient and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members, updating them on individual progress and any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Schedule and conduct appointments, including in-home visits, to provide holistic care and monitoring of patientsโ€™ developments.
  • Coordinate home visits and data analysis to ensure thorough evaluation and support of individualsโ€™ needs.
  • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights regarding patient care strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough documentation, including monthly and quarterly progress notes to track improvements and setbacks.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff to ensure everyone is proficient in the implementation of therapeutic programs and documentation practices.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and the mental health community to reinforce support networks and development goals.
  • Assist in the formulation of training materials aimed at enhancing program efficiency and effectiveness for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor at Proto-Call, you will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our goal is to address a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will have the opportunity to employ various therapeutic modalities to help clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Nevada.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment.
  • Proficiency in Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) as well as familiarity with EMR software and related technologies.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Experience
  • Substantial expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly desirable.
  • Experience in conducting both in-office and home visits to better serve families and individuals.
