Work Environment

This position is predominantly remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule and reducing commuting time. Our outpatient office provides a supportive environment for team collaborations and interdisciplinary meetings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs, tailoring treatment plans based on individual goals.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders regarding patients’ progress.
• Provide a tentative schedule to supervisors for appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Coordinate home visits to facilitate essential observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data collection.
• Ensure the proper implementation and documentation of the treatment plan, maintaining high standards of quality care.
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss patient treatment, collaborate on care strategies, and share insights.
• Complete and manage comprehensive monthly and quarterly progress notes to track patient developments and treatment adjustments.
• Organize training sessions to ensure that staff members demonstrate competence in implementing treatment plans and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Provide follow-up care through interviews, home visits, and ongoing observations to address evolving patient needs.
• Act as a liaison with the community, enhancing relationships with public and mental health partners to promote integrated care.
• Assist in the development of training materials and procedures aimed at improving the programs offered to our patients.

The clientele at Proto-Call Counseling Services spans multiple demographics, including both youth and adults from various backgrounds. Counselors will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, substance misuse, family dynamics, and other psychological issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a LPCC in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, showcasing a proven ability to support individuals effectively.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport with a wide range of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team environment.
• Familiarity and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma counseling, or substance abuse treatment is preferred.
