You will work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and parents to create a comprehensive support network for our clients, fostering their emotional well-being and academic success.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, gathering detailed information about students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning to inform treatment planning.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Design, implement, and assess individualized treatment plans that include specific therapeutic goals and interventions aimed at enhancing student resilience and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for each client.
• Offer crisis intervention services, including risk assessment and safety planning, to address immediate mental health concerns effectively.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups, fostering connection and community among students.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.
• Participate actively in clinical supervision and team meetings, contributing to ongoing treatment strategies and professional development.

Your primary focus will be on students within various educational settings who are grappling with mental health issues. The role necessitates a keen understanding of the school environment and the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. By providing targeted support, you will help students navigate their mental health journeys, promoting resilience and enhancing their academic performance.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to the mental health needs of students.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with a strong ability to build therapeutic relationships with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and various therapeutic tools to deliver remote care.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, specifically working with children and adolescents in a school or educational context.
• Familiarity with resources and programs available within the Salem, Oregon community that can enhance student support.
• Experience in crisis intervention and safety planning, specifically related to youth mental health.
