Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to establish their mental health status and therapy objectives.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused strategies.
• Deliver impactful therapy sessions to adult clients via teletherapy, ensuring a comfortable and supportive virtual environment.
• Manage crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
• Participate in continuous professional development by engaging in training, workshops, and seminars to remain current with emerging mental health practices and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapists at Thrive Counseling work with a diverse adult client population, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We aim to provide client-centered care that respects each individual’s unique experiences and empowers them toward personal growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and foster therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach in clinical practice.
• Strong organizational skills that enable effective time management and caseload prioritization.
• No record of disciplinary actions on any professional licensing board.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with teletherapy modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for client management and documentation.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices relevant for adult clients.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
