As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Body & Soul Quality Counseling Center, you will:

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships by adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions to monitor client progress, assess their stability, and collaboratively plan for future appointments or discharge when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and oversee personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring a person-centered approach.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment histories for all clients.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather critical information and understand the client's needs and goals.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in individual supervision and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and enhance client well-being.
• Embrace a growth mindset, continually seeking opportunities for improvement in your practice.

Your role will primarily involve working with a varied outpatient population encompassing adults, children, and families. You will address a wide array of mental health concerns, promoting healing and personal growth in a supportive, client-centered environment. Our center prioritizes creating a safe space for all clients, including those from diverse backgrounds and identities.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling, counseling, or a related field.
• A current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with electronic health record systems (such as RMS) and communication tools like Outlook and spreadsheets.
• Experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services and conducting intake assessments confidently.

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with additional experience working with specific populations or those skilled in utilizing various therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Familiarity with community resource coordination and a proactive approach to inter-professional collaboration will further enhance your application.
