This position is remote, offering the flexibility to support work-life balance while still providing high-quality care to patients. Our outpatient setting allows counselors to connect with clients in their homes, utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth technology. You will work in a collaborative virtual atmosphere with a team of experienced psychiatrists, social workers, and mental health professionals, all focused on ensuring that our patients receive integrated and effective treatment.

• Conduct in-depth mental health evaluations and risk assessments to determine the needs and challenges of clients.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs, leveraging therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Deliver trauma-informed care, responding empathetically to clients' experiences while using evidence-based practices to foster recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services for clients in acute distress, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical staff, to enhance the care continuum and streamline treatment pathways.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans to align with changing needs and goals.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources for support and recovery.
• Assist in developing detailed discharge and aftercare plans for clients to promote long-term success.
• Comply with ethical standards and legal guidelines in all aspects of mental health practice, ensuring quality and safe client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, case consultations, and education to remain current with best practices in mental health counseling.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Healious Psychiatry, you will work with individuals facing a diverse range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and chronic mental health conditions. Our client population is varied, encompassing different demographics and presenting a spectrum of symptoms. You will play a critical role in their journey toward healing and stability, supporting those in need with the skills and compassion unique to mental health care.

• An active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Missouri is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
• You should have at least two years of clinical experience in a healthcare or psychiatric setting, demonstrating proficiency in mental health counseling.
• A solid foundation in crisis intervention techniques and strong case management skills are essential.
• Experience in working with clients dealing with chronic illnesses, trauma, and mental health disorders is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, ethical guidelines, and Missouri mental health laws is crucial.
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills are vital for building rapport and helping clients navigate their treatment effectively.

We prefer candidates who have experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms and are familiar with the nuances of remote counseling. A background in working with diverse populations and knowledge of various therapeutic techniques to address complex mental health issues will also be beneficial.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
