SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst partners with operational leaders and cross‑functional teams to support data‑driven strategic and financial decision‑making. This role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency and revenue growth through financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical insights.

The ideal candidate brings experience from healthcare consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a related analytical environment and is motivated by the opportunity to move quickly, deliver measurable impact, and grow within a patient‑centric, physician‑led, high‑growth organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform financial analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives within the Ophthalmology business unit
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans using forward‑looking financial models
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers, translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Review monthly KPIs and financial results versus forecast, delivering detailed variance analysis and insights
  • Partner with accounting to interpret financial results and connect outcomes to underlying business performance
  • Support monthly business unit review presentations, clearly communicating financial insights to senior leadership
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis related to the ophthalmology segment, including de novo initiatives, refinancing scenarios, and strategic modeling
  • Ability to travel once per month to rotating leadership meeting locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to execute with precision, polish and persistence.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including comfort with large datasets.
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—capable of simplifying complex analyses.
  • Experience in healthcare services or multi-site operations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred: MHA, MBA, etc.
  • 1+ years of work experience in healthcare consulting, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, or operations analytics.

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

  • Advanced Excel and Power BI, familiarity with SQL preferred.

LOCATION

  • This position can be remote for candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N. Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
