Overview

DLH Corp, is looking for a Public Health Research Analyst (Non-Data)ย to join our talented and innovative team supporting theย Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), the Division of HIV Prevention (DHP) is charged with preventing HIV infection and reducing the incidence of HIV-related illness and death. The overarching objectives of the contract held by DLH are to assist DHP in addressing its public health mission by providing data management, data governance, data analysis, and data dissemination support to strengthen the nationwide capacity to monitor the HIV epidemic.ย 

This position is 100% remote. However, employees may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings, trainings, or team events on an as-needed basis. To support onboarding and compliance requirements, candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC. Access to one of these secure office locations is required for smart card issuance, background investigation processing, and other periodic administrative or security-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the capture of program data.
  • Produce reports based on program data.
  • Monitor the commitment and obligation of funds.
  • Prepare reports on disbursement of funded research or demonstration projects.
  • Help translate scientific evidence from the literature into practical information.
  • Support ongoing coordination and management of program activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple data sources to monitor and assess data to ensure data quality, including accuracy and completeness.
  • At least 2 years of experience with managing or running a research or demonstration project.
  • Familiarity with public health research budgets and expenditures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing needs.
  • Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling public health research projects.
  • Experience with systematic reviews.ย 
  • Prior experience with CDC, HHS, or other federal or state health agency.
  • Master's degree in public health or related field.
  • Detail oriented and able to create meticulous documentation of products.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Basic Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly salary

The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
