Job Title: Java API Developer - 100% remote
Location: Remote
Type: Contract
Compensation: Negotiable
Work Model: Remote - offsite
Hours: 40 hours a week
Security Clearance: None but full background check required

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement microservices-based solutions with strong hands-on experience
  • Utilize expertise in Springboot (Java) to build robust backend systems
  • Design and develop APIs, system integrations, and facilitate service-to-service communications within container environments
  • Work with cloud Azure and container environments such as AKS or ACA
  • Design and optimize cloud database data models in Azure
  • Configure and manage CICD pipelines for microservices development
  • Implement secure principals and tokens for authentication and authorization
  • Maintain effective communication and professional demeanor within a large enterprise setting
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microservices development
  • Backend expertise using Springboot (Java)
  • Hands-on API design experience (Mulesoft), system integrations, and service communications in containers
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and container environments like AKS or ACA
  • Knowledge of cloud databases and data modeling in Azure
  • Experience working with CICD pipelines for microservice deployment
  • Understanding and experience with secure principals and token-based authentication
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor in enterprise environments
