Details:
Role: ETL Developer with AWS
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 months
What You Will Do:
Participate and contribute in the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications.
  • Follow standard software development methodologies and SDLC practices to produce high quality applications in an efficient manner.
  • Participate in estimating assigned work effort and be accountable for completion dates
  • Document code and support release management as needed
  • Reverse engineering of existing code and perform impact analysis of the changes done with regard to earlier written documentation

Skills and Experience You Will Need:
  • 5+ years of ETL development and Migration experience
  • 2+ years of developing experience in the Amazon Cloud Environment AWS (S3, EMR, AWS Glue, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Data Lake, etc.)
  • Worked on at least 1 data migration project into Redshift (AWS Glue)
  • Ability to output the results in several formats (JSON, data feeds, reports, etc.).
  • Ability to perform data manipulations, load, extract from several sources of data into another schema.
  • Understanding of core AWS services, and basic AWS architecture best practices.
  • Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based data assets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to design schemas to meet the requirements.
  • Ability to understand requirements and changes to requirements
  • Strong communication skills - in onsite / offshore engagement models.
