Job description

Data Services Manager, Hospital Data Exchange

IQVIA is a global leader in advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research for the life sciences industry. We are currently seeking a US-based Data Services Manager to support recruitment and engagement of short-term acute care hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) for participation in the IQVIA Hospital Data Exchange Program. This role plays a critical part in expanding hospital participation while delivering high-quality customer support and relationship management.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Recruit short-term acute care hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to participate in the IQVIA Hospital Data Exchange Program at no cost to the hospital.
  • Present and educate hospital stakeholders on the value of the electronic Comparative Price Report (eCPR) and guide them through program participation requirements.
  • Leverage recruitment tools to identify and engage appropriate purchasing and materials management leaders.
  • Conduct outreach through written, phone, and virtual communications to secure hospital participation.
  • Deliver virtual presentations and training sessions via Microsoft Teams; occasional travel may be required with approval.
  • Provide timely support for technical inquiries related to FTP submissions, data formatting, and use of the IQVIA Customer Portal.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for participating hospitals by clearly explaining how data is collected, validated, and used.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in sales or account management within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience required.
  • Familiarity with the MedTech industry or IQVIA product categorization is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency working across Microsoft Office Suite is required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with SalesForce is preferred, but not required.
  • Comfort working with data, technical file submissions, and web-based customer portals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior hospital stakeholders.
  • Experience in sales, account management, contract negotiation, or deal closure
  • Ability to navigate complex hospital organizational structures and manage objections professionally.
  • Ability to support hospital partners across all U.S. time zones, including Pacific Time, and willingness to support outside standard Eastern Time business hours and/or limited weekend hours as needed.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $74,100.00 - $185,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
