Job description

Summary

In this position you will gain a complete and broad range of knowledge in Contracts and Licensing and Commissions. Agency Operations Representatives are responsible for providing support for analyzing distribution partners data, agent adds, changes, commission inquiries, as well as all other related production work in a timely and thorough manner. The Agency Operations Representative must accurately review, process, and answer agent related requests and inquiries, as well as have the ability to improve upon the efficiency of company guidelines by frequently assessing their effectiveness. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

  • Process Distribution Partners’ appointments, agent change requests, commission inquiries, and status requests resulting in accurate and timely commission payments within state regulations and internal procedures
  • Proficiently provide excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, with timely handling of appointment, commission, EAM, and status calls 20%
  • Correctly interpret and apply contractual terms and obligations to policy hierarchies
  • Perform any necessary QA to ensure accuracy of all agent data

Required/Preferred Qualifications

Education Required:

Degree/Certification required: high school diploma

Minimum Years of Related Work Experience Required:

Minimum years’ experience required: 3 yrs clerical experience or equivalent

Specific Industry and/or Specialty Experience Required:

Possess strong ability in the following skill areas: • Data entry • Attention to detail • Math skills • Microsoft Office Excel • Written and verbal communication
