Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Intern supports the Communications and Marketing team in executing day-to-day digital marketing activities across social media publishing, paid digital advertising support, and performance reporting. Reporting to the Director of Digital Content, this role is task-oriented and execution-focused, contributing to the social media presence of both IHS and Liberalism.org.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None.

Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Content Publishing
  • Schedules and publishes approved organic content across all IHS and Liberalism.org social media channels, ensuring accurate formatting and timely delivery.

Analytics & Reporting Support
  • Collects and compiles performance metrics for organic and paid social content, including engagement, click-through rate, and conversion data across platforms.
  • Pulls and organizes platform data to prepare regular performance reports for the Digital Content Director's review and analysis.

Emerging Media & Trend Research
  • Monitors trends in digital marketing, social media platforms, and content formats, and surfaces relevant tools, creative approaches, and platform features to the team to inform content planning.

Required Qualifications
  • Foundational knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute detail-oriented, task-based work accurately and on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to paid digital advertising or ads manager tools.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling or analytics platforms.

Reporting Timeline
  • This internship will start on September 21, 2026, and end on December 11, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible with respect to semester schedules).
  • This internship will be up to 25 hours weekly.
