Job description

Overview Magnolia Consulting is a values-lived, certified woman-owned business and Certified B Corporation that cultivates learning and positive change through research, evaluation, and capacity-building services. As a B Corp, we are part of a global movement of companies committed to high standards of social and environmental impact, accountability, and transparency. We are committed to being a force for good through actions and services that promote justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI), both within our team and in partnership with the communities we serve.

Our research and evaluation work supports educators, education leaders, program developers, and policy leaders in making thoughtful, evidence-informed decisions. We partner with people who care deeply about their work, helping them learn from data, strengthen programs, and improve outcomes across PreK–20 education, STEM education, workforce development, postsecondary readiness, data use, and school employee sexual misconduct prevention. We are seeking both a Research Assistant and a Researcher/Evaluator to join our fully remote, highly collaborative team.

Magnolia Consulting is a fully virtual company based in Charlottesville, VA. We prefer candidates located in Virginia or nearby states, but will consider other qualified candidates with demonstrated success working remotely (United States). Positions Two positions: Research Assistant and Researcher/Evaluator.

Responsibilities The Research Assistant plays a central role in survey management and supports data collection, database preparation and management, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and report development across multiple studies. This role is well suited for an early-career professional who brings strong foundational research skills, values precision and collaborative teamwork, and is eager to deepen expertise through hands-on contribution in a fully remote environment. The Researcher/Evaluator contributes to the design, implementation, analysis, and communication of research and evaluation studies that serve educators, organizations, and communities.

This role manages day-to-day study operations, leads data collection and analysis activities, and develops clear, actionable findings that support client decision-making and meaningful improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
