Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Copilot Studio Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI copilots for our clients using Microsoft Copilot Studio. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting skills to guide organizations through AI adoption at scale.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise stakeholders, shaping copilot strategies, defining architectures, and ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable implementations across Microsoft and third-party ecosystems.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership
  • Architect end-to-end copilot solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio for enterprise environments
  • Design scalable AI architectures leveraging Azure AI Foundry for model management, evaluation, orchestration, and grounding
  • Define conversational, integration, and data architectures aligned with client business objectives
  • Design multi-copilot ecosystems, orchestration patterns, and reusability frameworks
  • Establish enterprise standards for prompts, topics, plugins, connectors, and actions
Enterprise Integration & Platform Design
  • Lead integrations with Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, Power Automate, and external enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, ITSM)
  • Design secure API and data-grounding strategies using structured and unstructured sources
  • Collaborate on hybrid architectures leveraging Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Storage
Security, Governance & Compliance
  • Define copilot governance models including environments, DLP policies, access controls, and lifecycle management
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  • Design authentication and authorization strategies using Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Establish monitoring, logging, telemetry, and AI evaluation standards
Consulting & Client Engagement
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and adoption roadmaps
  • Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and technical design sessions
  • Translate business strategy into scalable copilot and AI platform architectures
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to client and internal delivery teams
Delivery & Optimization
  • Oversee build, testing, deployment, and post-production optimization
  • Guide performance tuning, accuracy improvements, prompt refinement, and grounding strategies
  • Support change management and enterprise rollout strategies
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in solution, platform, or enterprise architecture roles
  • Proven experience designing and delivering solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, including model selection, evaluation, orchestration, and grounding
  • Deep expertise in Power Platform architecture and governance
  • Strong understanding of conversational AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering at enterprise scale
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs and connectors
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, identity, and security concepts
  • Excellent client-facing, presentation, and facilitation skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience working directly with OpenAI models or APIs (e.g., GPT-based solutions)
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI Service
  • Background in enterprise chatbot or AI platform implementations
  • Familiarity with responsible AI, model evaluation, and risk mitigation frameworks
  • Microsoft certifications (Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Architect, AI Engineer)
