Job description

Are you ready to make a direct impact on national security through the power of cloud technology. The AWS Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO) is seeking a driven and experienced Program Execution Manager to help lead mission-critical cloud programs in support of the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense

This is your opportunity to work at the intersection of innovative technology and the nation's most important missions.
Based in Jessup, Maryland, you will join an elite team of program management and technical professionals delivering secure, scalable, and mission-driven cloud solutions for our national security customers. You'll partner directly with business leaders and government stakeholders to drive program execution, align priorities, and deliver outcomes that matter.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in cloud computing, national security mission requirements, and large-scale program management - and knows how to translate complex technical and operational challenges into clear, actionable results. You are equally at home collaborating with engineers as you are briefing senior government executives.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Key job responsibilities
What You'll Do
Continuously evaluate program processes, workflows, and delivery mechanisms to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and embed lessons learned into standard operating practices
Develop and maintain program documentation that ensures consistency and clarity in how programs are understood and executed across all stakeholders
Establish and manage program frameworks, including decision-making processes, escalation paths, and accountability structures
Coordinate across diverse teams - including sales, capture, business operations, legal, cybersecurity, solution architects, and software development - to maintain strategic alignment and drive accountability throughout the program lifecycle
Lead program discussions and ensure outcomes are clearly documented and actioned across teams
Drive recurring stakeholder engagements to build trusted relationships, foster open communication, and ensure program transparency
Champion innovation by exploring AI and automation opportunities to streamline recurring tasks and elevate the team
Who You Are
You are a proactive, mission-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments

You bring sharp critical thinking and analytic problem-solving skills, paired with strong business development and executive communication experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community or Department of Defense. You are comfortable with ambiguity, obsessed with customer outcomes, and bring a bias for action to everything you do.
