Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in North Carolina.

This position develops and directs the corporate real estate technology strategy, governance, and day-to-day technology operations, ensuring alignment with the Bank's goals, objectives, and expectations. Implements and executes strategies to manage the corporate real estate technology platform, operations, reporting, governance, and processes, while fostering key relationships. Partners closely with real estate leaders and key stakeholders to understand their feedback and needs and translate them into the overall corporate real estate technology strategy and the way the technology platform is managed and operated day to day. Serves as the primary liaison between internal corporate real estate team members and corporate technology resources. This position will influence and provide leadership on technology-enabled change management, platform direction, and strategic priorities for Corporate Real Estate.


Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy and Governance - Builds and maintains a strategic planning and governance framework for corporate real estate technology, working with real estate leaders, cross-functional lines of business, corporate technology teams, and other stakeholders across the Bank to understand and capture key priorities. Translates stakeholder feedback, business needs, and operational requirements into the overall corporate real estate technology strategy, roadmap, standards, and investment priorities. Implements and executes strategies that drive technology projects, programs, and strategic initiatives and align tactics with broader Bank goals and objectives. Oversees technology program efforts and provides status updates on major initiatives or high-profile issues as needed.
  • Managerial Functions - Oversees internal corporate real estate technology resources and establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company, division, and technology goals. Makes appropriate changes to policies, procedures, operating practices, and team efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development and talent learning opportunities and by ensuring clear accountability for technology strategy, platform administration, service delivery, and operational support.
  • Financial Planning and Vendor Management - Manages and prepares budget projections for the corporate real estate technology portfolio and maintains regular financial reporting for executive management. Ensures optimal financial and technology solutions, identifies strategic opportunities to reduce operating costs, and presents business cases in support of technology investments and savings opportunities. Builds, maintains, and collaborates with vendors and service providers to efficiently coordinate technology activities, performance, contracts, and delivery expectations.
  • Risk Management - Manages and mitigates risk exposure associated with corporate real estate technology operations. Facilitates the implementation of tools, controls, and techniques that enhance data security, system reliability, service quality, compliance, and operational cost-effectiveness. Develops and implements policies and procedures that mitigate technology and operational risk exposures. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Bank standards, and technology requirements. Provides guidance on complex, escalated technology, security, data, and platform issues.
  • Technology Operations and Platform Management - Directs the day-to-day management and operation of the corporate real estate technology platform and related applications, data, integrations, reporting, and support processes. Establishes operating standards, service expectations, intake and prioritization processes, release and change-management practices, issue escalation protocols, and performance measures. Coordinates incident resolution, maintenance, enhancements, testing, adoption, and continuous improvement to promote stable, effective, and user-focused technology services.
  • Stakeholder Partnership and Technology Liaison - Partners closely with corporate real estate leaders, team members, and key stakeholders to gather feedback, understand business and user needs, clarify requirements, and convert those needs into technology capabilities, operating priorities, and actionable plans. Serves as the primary liaison between internal corporate real estate team members and corporate technology resources, facilitating communication, decision-making, prioritization, issue resolution, resource coordination, and alignment with enterprise technology architecture, cybersecurity, data, and support practices.

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Program Management including leadership experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Program Management including leadership experience
