This position is available to be filled at any Huntington Corporate office location

Summary:

The Participations Loan Servicing team is responsible for servicing Syndicated Loans in which Huntington is a participant. This fast-paced, high-volume team handles payments, advances, loan balancing, complex research transactions, and ongoing monitoring of financial and maintenance reports

This position is part of the Financial Maintenance team within the Commercial Loan Services group, supporting the bank's Commercial Participated Loan portfolio. Responsibilities include processing payments and advances, initiating wire transfers, balancing loan activity with Agent banks, and collaborating with Participant Banks and internal business partners.

Independently manage an assigned portfolio of high-dollar Participated and Syndicated loans per executed credit agreements.

Support loans where Huntington is a participant and where Huntington serves as the Agent bank.

Monitor daily reports and wire Participant Banks their share of loan activity for next-day settlement.

Prepare and distribute detailed transaction advice to Participant Banks.

Process incoming wires in coordination with the Agent bank.

Process financial transactions and reconcile daily work batches.

Interpret loan advice from Agent banks and execute same-day funding for draw requests.

Maintain high-quality processing standards.

Research and resolve discrepancies in loan balances using credit agreements, loan history, and rate details.

Assign incoming wires to the appropriate processors and ensure timely clearing.

This position is available to be filled at any Huntington Corporate office location

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations servicing Syndicated Loans.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree.

Strong self-starter with excellent follow-through, time management, and organizational skills.

Experience working in a production environment with tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to read and interpret complex credit agreements.

Financial balancing and reconciliation experience.

Customer service experience.

Experience handling large-dollar transactions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with the AFS commercial loan accounting system.

Ability to learn complex Commercial Lending processes.
