Job description

Skillforce has teamed up with a fast growing developer to find a Project Superintendent – Luxury Custom Homes. This person will be working on projects around Buford, GA, Athens, GA and Atlanta area.

Project Superintendent Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary plus OT: $70,000 – $90,000
  • Truck allowance
  • Company cell phone and computer
  • Bonuses depending on project completion

Project Superintendent Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day field operations of luxury custom home construction projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy and constructability.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site while enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections with local building officials and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
  • Communicate project progress, schedule updates, and potential concerns to the VP of Construction and project team.
  • Verify material deliveries and coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and field records.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients, architects, designers, consultants, and trade partners.

Project Superintendent Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing high-end residential or luxury custom home projects.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building systems, and construction sequencing.
  • OSHA 10-hour (or willing to get it).
  • GA GSWCC Level 1A (or willing to get it).
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and national building codes.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
