Position Overview

Steadfast Support Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated Full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to enhance our Behavioral Health Team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services and will be working primarily in a remote setting with daylight hours, from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine eligibility for services, including family and child counseling for clients who meet DSM-V diagnostic criteria.
  • Facilitate psycho-educational groups and classes, such as parenting and life skills workshops, to empower clients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and program forms, adhering to organizational guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Timely completion of all necessary charting and reporting to ensure compliance with billing requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Meet performance expectations by achieving a designated number of reimbursable hours through diligent service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with children and their families, addressing a range of mental health issues. The counselor will develop therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics through informed therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of a valid clinical license in Pennsylvania as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to billing, documentation, and client management.
Preferred Experience
