Job description

Job Title: Tester (Curam Specialist)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Curam-based applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Validate defect fixes and track defects through resolution using tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and status meetings.
  • Report testing status and metrics to QA leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure Curam rules and configurations are correctly tested and validated.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with IBM Curam SPM 7.x or higher.
  • Knowledge of Curam business and technical architecture, including rules, workflows, and data model.
  • Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or Rational Quality Manager (RQM).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience working with public sector health and human services systems.
  • Experience in SQL for data validation.
  • Experience in automated testing using tools like Selenium is a plus.
  • ISTQB or other QA certifications are desirable.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
