Job Title: Patient Service Representative (Remote - Full Time)

Vigilance Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) who will serve as the front-line voice for patients and a vital support for our care coordination team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and purpose-driven environment.
What You'll Do

  • Answer high-volume incoming calls with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Route calls to the right team or take detailed, accurate messages.
  • Manage data entry, patient scheduling, mailings, and patient enrollments.
  • Validate patient eligibility and scrub data using EHR systems and spreadsheets.
  • Support internal teams by entering appointment and patient details in the EHR.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold strict patient confidentiality.
  • Track and report daily performance metrics such as patient verifications, follow-up completions, and call outcomes.
  • Collaborate across teams to support care coordination efforts and resolve issues quickly.
Success in This Role Means
  • 95%+ of calls answered within three rings.
  • Call handling time averages 2 minutes or less.
  • 100+ patients verified daily with high accuracy.
  • Active participation in team huddles and trainings.
  • No HIPAA violations or documentation errors.
  • Patients feel heard, valued, and supported.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1+ year in healthcare customer service or call center.
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with EHRs like eCW, Epic, or Athena is a plus.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Available to work Monday-Friday between 7:30am-6:00pm CST.
