What You'll Do 

As a Contact Center Specialist, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for members across phone, chat, email, and video channels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver outstanding service and support to members
  • Process account transactions, maintenance requests, and account research
  • Assist members with fraud-related concerns and account questions
  • Educate members on digital banking tools, products, and services
  • Provide basic consumer and mortgage loan information
  • Identify member needs and refer solutions in lending, investments, insurance, and business services
  • Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with teammates and participate in training and cross-functional initiatives

    Must-Have Qualifications
    • At least 1 year of customer service experience or 6 months in a member-facing role at Columbia Credit Union
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage details effectively
    • Comfortable using computers and multiple systems simultaneously
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others
    • Reliable attendance and availability to work Monday-Friday during contact center operating hours (7:30 AM-6:00 PM)
    • Preferred: Call center, banking, credit union, financial services, or customer support experience
