Description

Are you an experienced credit professional with a passion for financial analysis and risk management? CCFBank is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to play a key role in supporting our commercial and agricultural lending teams. This position combines detailed financial analysis, credit structuring, and portfolio management with opportunities to influence lending decisions, mentor developing analysts, and contribute to the Bank's continued growth and success.


This position will be located on-site at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI.ย 


Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs pre-qualification assessment and analyzes financial condition and risk of financing requests in alignment with the Bank's credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Gathers data from customers, internal and external sources.
  • Prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns and obtains additional information and clarification of data.
  • Compiles data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
  • Communicates with Ag/Commercial Bankers when working credits, spreads, and ticklers.
  • Works in conjunction with other departments to process and service loans.
  • Performs site visits and/or customer meetings with bankers.
  • Updates and corresponds with special assets department on workouts, bankruptcies, and charge-offs to ensure all possible precautionary actions or measures are taken. Performs and helps complete problem loan action reports.ย 
  • Participates in loan committee meetings and other credit administration meetings, provides recommendations for changes to loan policy, and engages commercial bankers and commercial support teams for process change recommendation.
  • Prepares reports and analyzes commercial and agriculture loan portfolio.
  • Assists with training and mentoring of Credit Analysts and Credit Analyst Interns.
  • Develops knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors and competition.
  • Represents the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business.
  • Performs annual reviews on credit portfolio to establish trends ensuring proper risk rating.
  • Compile credit action presentation complete with accurate financial data and detailed narrative to aid in the credit decisioning process.
  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.ย 
    • Note: Five (5) years of directly related experience in lending may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
  • Three (3) years of credit analyst experience.
