Job description

Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$50 Hourly
Start Date:
Jul 13, 2026
Humane World is seeking a highly organized, strategic Creative Operations Project Manager to help bring visibility, structure, and consistency to a newly consolidated creative team. This person will assess current workflows across photo, design, edit, video, and DAM functions; identify process gaps; and help establish a more streamlined and scalable project management approach. The ideal candidate has deep experience supporting creative teams and can operate at a high level across workflow design, intake, resourcing, and delivery tracking.
What You'll Do
* Evaluate current end-to-end workflows across creative disciplines, from intake through delivery
* Map and document processes, tools, timelines, and deliverables across the department
* Identify breakdowns, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency
* Help establish clearer visibility into workload, status, and forecasting
* Recommend improved workflows and interim operating practices until a consolidated PM tool is implemented
* Partner with creative leaders to support change management and process alignment
* Work within Airtable or a similar tool to organize and track work in the interim
* Support the eventual transition to a centralized project management platform
* Ensure DAM considerations are built into workflow planning and process design
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in creative project management or creative operations
* Experience building or improving workflows for multi-disciplinary creative teams
* Comfort working across design, photo, video, editorial, and production environments
* Experience with Airtable or similar workflow/project management tools
* Strategic thinker who can assess systems holistically, not just manage tasks
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, evolving environment
* Experience with DAM workflows is a plus
Role Details
* Location: Fully remote
* Schedule: Flexible; open to 20-40 hours/week depending on business needs and candidate availability
* Start: As soon as the right person is identified
* Duration: Interim support with potential to transition into a full-time role in the fall
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is best suited for someone who has helped creative teams get organized, improve processes, and create better visibility into work in progress. A strong candidate will be comfortable stepping into a high-level, consultative PM role and helping shape the structure of a growing creative organization.
