• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement therapeutic interventions focusing on solution-based approaches to facilitate clients’ progress toward their mental health goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring the confidentiality of client records.

• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, educators, and social workers to provide holistic care and support for individual students and their families.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to continuously enhance service delivery and therapeutic practices.

• Provide educational resources and guidance to empower patients and families regarding mental health issues and available services.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the mental health field to continuously improve client outcomes.

This position is focused on serving a diverse student population in a school environment, addressing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and social-emotional learning needs. The role demands a sensitivity to the unique cultural, socioeconomic, and developmental factors affecting students and their families.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in Virginia is required.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on psychotherapy.

• Expertise in employing solution-focused therapy techniques to cater to the needs of diverse clients.

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• A passion for working in a team-oriented environment and a commitment to enhancing the mental health of students.

• Experience in school-based mental health settings or with youth populations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote service delivery.

• Annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
