• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs, challenges, and aspirations, ensuring a strong foundation for personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and trauma recovery.
• Offer couples and family therapy aimed at enhancing communication skills, resolving conflicts, and strengthening relationships through evidence-based strategies.
• Design individualized treatment plans with clear objectives and actionable interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring immediate access to the necessary resources.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, coping mechanisms, and various support resources available within the community.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on legal and ethical regulations governing counseling practices to ensure compliance and uphold the highest professional standards.

The clients you will serve range from adolescents to adults, encompassing diverse backgrounds and presenting various mental health issues. Our center emphasizes inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, actively engaging with community resources to address the unique challenges faced by each individual.

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possess state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Demonstrate strong clinical training and experience in counseling, with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity to foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings is a plus.

Fortuna Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a favorable salary structure, we provide:
