• Perform thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs of patients and articulate their unique treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, focusing on common mental health issues to build community support and offer resources.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and healthcare providers, to provide coordinated and seamless patient care.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and connecting them with available community resources.
• Maintain up-to-date records compliant with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of learning and sharing clinical best practices.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment methodologies and integrate relevant findings into practice.

Your primary focus will be on patients within the hospice setting, requiring a sensitive and compassionate approach. You will work with patients coping with end-of-life issues, grief, and emotional distress, necessitating a deep understanding of both mental health and hospice care. This role is not only about providing therapy but also about fostering hope, understanding, and acceptance during critical life transitions.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating tailored treatment plans.
• Proficient in delivering therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport with diverse populations.
• Ability to practice sound clinical judgment while adhering to ethical boundaries.
• Competent in utilizing EHR systems for maintaining patient documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health therapy, particularly within outpatient or inpatient treatment settings.
• Previous experience working with hospice patients or end-of-life care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care methods.
