Shop.com is seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer for our Shop.com Ecommerce Experience Design Team.

The Shop.com ECommerce UX Design team builds and transforms digital products across our retail sites and mobile apps that allow entrepreneurs and sellers to maximize their fullest potential. In this role you will be transforming our ecommerce retail experiences as well as designing tools our sellers need to maximize their sales, and monitor the health of their business while designing experiences that shape, modernize, and lift engagement leveraging industry best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to shape and redesign our e-commerce retail experiences across web and mobile. In this role, youll contribute to designing and transforming our digital ecommerce stores, combining deep user empathy with strategic business thinking. Youll work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to craft seamless and engaging customer journeysfrom product pages to checkouthelping drive design and brand alignment across digital touchpoints.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience in UI/UX/Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce or retail projects.
  • Deep understanding of online retail user behavior, conversion optimization, and digital merchandising.
  • Mastery of design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.) and prototyping platforms.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across marketing, engineering, and business teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting design solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX processresearch, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and final UIwith measurable outcomes (conversion, engagement, etc.).
  • Solid grasp of responsive and accessible design for e-commerce.
  • Exposure to e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.) or experience working with cross-sell, up-sell, and personalized merchandising solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with retail platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and integrations.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required; preferred in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related discipline.
  • Masters degree in a design, technology, or business-related field is a plus.
  • Formal UX/UI certifications and ongoing professional development highly valued.
  • Must demonstrate a robust portfolio featuring measurable outcomes for E-commerce or retail digital products.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and analytics-driven design approaches preferred.
  • Experienced in designing within established design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and brand alignment across all digital touchpoints.
  • Experience in building or contributing to comprehensive design systems is a strong plus.
