We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team at our Correctional Behavioral Health Care Clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This remote position allows for flexibility and work-life balance, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have the autonomy to manage your caseload, tailor therapy sessions to individual client needs, and utilize telehealth platforms to enhance access to services. You will work alongside a diverse team of professionals dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a weekly caseload of approximately 25-30 client visits, providing high-quality therapy through individual, family, and group sessions.
• Document ongoing treatment results, including updates to diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and clinical case notes, in adherence to clinic policies.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including case managers and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
• Employ creative interventions aimed at helping clients set, achieve, and exceed their therapeutic goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their families, working towards the mission of filling gaps in mental health access.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input on new initiatives and sharing success stories to promote a positive work culture.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, couples, and families navigating various challenges. Our focus is on addressing issues such as substance abuse, trauma, and relationship dynamics, particularly within the context of the correctional system. You will play a crucial role in helping clients overcome barriers to mental health care, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
• An understanding of family therapy principles, community resources, and clinical documentation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients, showing compassion and respect for their diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families is highly desirable.
• Effective documentation skills, including experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and maintaining clinical notes.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and practices to enhance service delivery.
• A proactive approach to case management and coordination with external resources, including medical personnel and schools.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
