A Remote Contracting Officer Representative (COR) is a government employee authorized to oversee and monitor contractor performance for federal contracts while working remotely. They act as the liaison between the government and contractors, ensuring contract terms are met, deliverables are received on time, and quality standards are maintained. Although they do not have the authority to change contract terms, they provide technical direction, review invoices, and document contractor performance from a remote location.
