Overview:

Innova Disc Golf is seeking a full-time Video Producer to join our creative team in a remote capacity. The Video Producer is a key storytelling partner for the Innova brand, responsible for capturing and crafting compelling disc golf content across our biggest media channels. Primary deliverables include long-form content for YouTube and Disc Golf Network (DGN) broadcast, connected TV (CTV) advertisements, and short-form cuts for social media platforms. The ideal candidate is an experienced field and studio producer with strong post-production skills, a keen editorial eye, and the ability to bring disc golf culture to life on screen. The Video Producer reports directly to the Marketing Director for all projects.

LOCATION

Remote - This role operates remotely in California, with required travel to disc golf events, tournaments, and shoots throughout the year. Standard working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Pacific (Los Angeles) time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required during active shoot periods and live event coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, shoot, and direct disc golf video content including player interviews, tournament action, course features, and brand storytelling

  • Produce and deliver long-form video for the Innova YouTube channel as the primary platform

  • Produce broadcast-quality content for Disc Golf Network (DGN) TV, including live event support and programming segments

  • Conceive and produce connected TV (CTV) and pre-roll advertisements that align with Innova's campaign strategy

  • Create short-form edits optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts from primary shoot assets

  • Design and integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, transitions, and animated brand elements into finished pieces

  • Manage the full production lifecycle: pre-production planning, on-location shooting, and post-production delivery

  • Coordinate shoot logistics with athletes, influencers, event organizers, and the internal marketing team

  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all video outputs

  • Manage and organize media assets, project files, and an archive of finished deliverables

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with campaign calendars and product launches

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-7+ years of professional video production experience, with a strong portfolio spanning documentary, sports, or branded content

  • Expert-level editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects proficiency required for motion graphics (our team uses Adobe Suite)

  • Demonstrated experience shooting in dynamic, fast-moving environments (live sports or events strongly preferred)

  • Solid understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio for field production

  • Experience producing content for broadcast or connected TV (CTV) platforms

  • Proven ability to produce short-form social content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) from long-form source material

  • Strong motion graphics and title design skills; ability to animate to brand standards

  • Experience working independently and managing multiple projects in a remote environment

  • Knowledge of disc golf or action/outdoor sports is a significant plus

  • A reel or portfolio of work is required for consideration
