Information Technology Project Manager – Remote Contract Falls Church, VA, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1781 Role and Responsibilities DSS is seeking a qualified individual to provide project management for the Division of Child Support. Activities include but are not limited to: Leading the design, development, and implementation of various information system transformation projects.

Providing strategic direction to the agency. Assisting with defining strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations. Defining business and technological requirements by consulting with product owner, subject matter experts, and scrum teams to define business needs and objectives.

Providing project management of highly complex large scale enterprise projects and smaller scale projects. Leading and coordinating efforts of development teams and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully. Ensuring project governance and monitoring controls are in place.

Ensuring project design, development, and implementation are on time and budget. Mentoring state personnel in project management and over time potentially train state resources to take over this function. Knowledge of child support program policies, procedures, and business practices.

Experience on child support system modernization projects. Successful experience managing information technology solutions. PMP certification or equivalent working experience.
